My name is Amada Hernandez and I am the new counselor at Swanson Counseling LLC

I have 19 years of experience providing SUD counseling treatment in different settings including OP, IOP, IRT, Detox, Prison-setting, DUI, and school-based in both English and Spanish (primary language) speak, read, and write both languages. 

There are many things I love about my job, but one thing I truly enjoy is when I see and hear clients after years of discharge reporting feeling happy and many of them having their goals accomplished including Spanish-speaking individuals.

Mi experiencia incluye 19 anos de servicios en consejeria. He trabajado en diferentes agencias incluyendo Tratamiento no-residential, Tratamiento-intensivo-residential, Tratamiento intensive-no-resodencial, detoxification, tratatamiento para prisioneros, y tratamiento preventivo para estudiantes. 

Me encanta mi trabajo y tengo muchas razones, pero una de las razones que realmente disfruto, es cuando encuentro personas felices en sobriedad y muchos de ellos comentan sus estrategias para seguir sobrios y como han logrado sus metas, pero mas importante es el sentido de autoestima saber que pueden vencer el alcoholism y la adiction a las drogas.
